Executive Sales Director

Parallel Path (Boulder, Colorado) a growing, successful online marketing agency in Boulder, is looking for an experienced, highly talented, and enthusiastic sales professional who loves a challenge and possesses the passion, tenacity, drive, and confidence it takes to succeed. This position will report to the CEO, and be part of the executive team.

This position will have direct responsibility to generate new accounts and revenue and manage revenue opportunities with existing accounts. This is a high profile, executive sales position that will be responsible for successful outcomes with current and potential clients.

The individual should have excellent understanding of and experience with fundamental practices in internet marketing, including SEO, PPC, Web Site conversion optimization, affiliate management, media creation and distribution, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the Company’s overall sales efforts and define all processes and manage execution to success
  • Manage a culture of accountability across all sales activities within the company
  • Grow revenue to meet and exceed company goals
  • Identify and develop local, regional and national prospects
  • Contact, needs assessment, quoting, and closing of client opportunities
  • Presentation of the company to new and existing prospects
  • Generate new leads and opportunities with targeted industries
  • Work with account managers to grow client accounts
  • Maintain industry and product knowledge and adjust sales strategy to changing market conditions and competitive issues
  • Refine and develop sales strategies for Parallel Path
  • Implement CRM systems
  • Identify and lead sales / market activities such as networking events, trade shows, and seminars
  • Develop an overall corporate sales strategy
  • Develop with the executive team, new initiatives, products and company direction


Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years successful sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years successful sales experience for Interactive Marketing
  • The ability to manage multiple, diverse sales events simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of current practices for SEO, PPC, Internet Ad networks, affiliates, and other internet marketing techniques
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills selling to business accounts
