Our Story

Back in 2004, Parallel Path Founder & Chairman Brian Cleveland was searching for ways to further grow his successful eight year old engineering product testing company, Percept Technology Labs and increase his company's sales. Realizing the value of the burgeoning online marketing industry, Brian started experimenting with Google AdWords and other paid search, SEO and SEM techniques, which quickly helped PTL land major clients including Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC) and Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN). Soon thereafter, Brian realized he was suddenly becoming an Internet marketing advisor to many of his entrepreneurial peers due to his early success with online marketing. He quickly realized the business potential.

Two years later in 2005, Brian decided to officially spin off his marketing efforts for Percept into its own business entity to advise and implement online marketing tactics for a few clients. Fortuitously, at the same time, he was introduced to Bryan Boettiger (now Parallel Path CEO), a fellow entrepreneur who had also realized the power of online marketing to propel his various businesses forward. Brian's engineering and analytical background, combined with Bryan's creative and strategic talents and Internet prowess led them to join forces and formally launch the company in 2006. With a measured and strategic approach, one that was rooted in analytics, the company has grown steadily year over year primarily through client referrals. Major B2B and B2C clients through the years have included Albertsons, Destination Maternity, Mentor Graphics, RightScale, NTT, ITT, Hosting.com, HostWay, CenturyLink, and Confio. Today, Parallel Path serves some of the worlds largest enterprise technology and retail clients, employs over 20 talented individuals and has been profitable since inception.
